In The Community

Our company is one that believes in giving back to the community.  On many occasions, our staff volunteers their time and as a company, donates services and equipment to many non-profit groups, community organizations, churches and schools.  We like to plan ahead therefore we like to receive requests for sponsorship and/or donation no later than December of the previous year for which our services are needed.  This way we can better assess our availability, staffing and equipment.  Responses to requests are disbursed through February.  It is our intent to respond to every request received.  As much as we would love to accommodate every request, unfortunately we are unable to do so but please do not allow that to deter you from submitting future requests. We love to hear what’s going on in the community so keep us posted!

PHENOMENAL OUTREACH IN THE COMMUNITY

As President/CEO of Phenomenal Events, I realize the need for support and motivation among women entrepreneurs.  Over the years I have had the privilege to connect with many women who aspire to start new business ventures as well as some who are stretching themselves to reach new heights in their business endeavors.  I am fortunate in that I have been able to share what I have learned as a successful entrepreneur with these budding and seasoned business women. As well as serve as a constant motivator to their successes.

In 2009, I began hosting an annual woman’s networking event which spot lights the budding entrepreneurs and provide a great networking opportunity for the more seasoned ones.  I am always excited to hear of new business ventures and success stories as this is my motivation and what keeps the wind beneath my wings.  As I continue to set and work toward my personal business goals, I encourage every entrepreneurial minded woman to stay focused, be patient but persistent, use wisdom and learn every lesson.  Know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made and you are a PHENOMENAL women!

2009 ~ Summer Tea Party ~ “A Ray of Sunshine

The 2009 summer tea was a day to remember.  The invited guests were appropriately dressed for tea in their beautiful hats and gloves all excitedly anticipating what the event had in store.  The guests participated in several “tea activities” including designing their very own tea hat, a game of TEAGO and Conversation Piece – an ice breaker where they got to know a little more about each other personally.  The ladies were entertained as they participated in the Parade of Hats, modeling their very own creations.  They were all enlightened as a Proper Tea Etiquette presentation was given.  A few words of encouragement were given by our Company President and a couple of the attending ladies were invited to briefly share their new ventures. The event climaxed with a mini fashion show presented by spotlighted vendor Pamela Edwards, CEO of ABS Fine Art and apparel.  The event ended on a high note as the women left with a new feather in their cap!

2011 ~ Summer Tea Party ~ “Mad Hatters”

Dream big…..that was the message given to the ladies present at the 2011 “Mad Hatters” Summer Tea Party.  President/CEO of Phenomenal Events, Natasha Bolden gave an awesome breakdown of the story of Alice in Wonderland and its relevance to following your dreams.  Her words of encouragement were so motivating that many of the guests said it prompted them to go out and get the book/movie as their own inspiration.  The ladies excitedly participated in a getting to know you activity called “clean cup” in honor of the Mad Hatters tea in the story.  The event featured six budding entrepreneurs who gave their “biz-timony” explaining their new business ventures and how they have been able to overcome obstacles to get to where they are today.  Each biztimony was unique and inspiring.  The event closed with a few words on Tea etiquette.  Each guest left with a bag filled with trinkets, goodies and a wealth of information.
